the Director General of Health Affairs, Dr. Saleh bin Ali Al Saluk assured that work is under way to improve and develop the services provided to primary health care.
said Al Saluk during a meeting with members of the Health Committee Monday, February 8, 2016 in East Chamber and the Department of Vice Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Committee Mr. Mohammed bin Saad Faraj that public and private health sectors are partners in the process of health services provided to patients, which contribute to the improvement of the mechanism for providing health services through meetings and gatherings between the two sectors, to discuss and estimate the health situation in the region and to find appropriate solutions to manage and improve them.
Al Saluk said during the meeting that witnesses a distinctive crowd that there will be an activation to the application of the purchase of services program by the private health sector majorly to contribute to provide better health services to patients.
Regarding the obligation to appoint a consultant medical physician in the medical centers, Al Saluk said that the presence of consultant physician in medical centers is one of the international requirements in health centers.
The Committee elected Mohammed bin Saad Al Faraj as a chairman by recommendation, and the election of Nasser Bin Sultan Al Subaie as vicar by recommendation.
